Support
Write to support@wappapp.app. Say which version of Wapp you have (Wapp → About Wapp) and of macOS, and which website the question is about.
A website doesn’t load or looks wrong
Reload it with ⌘R. Wapp runs websites on WebKit, the engine Safari uses, so a site that doesn’t work in Safari won’t work in Wapp either. Links that lead away from an app open in your default browser.
Notifications don’t appear
- In Wapp, check Settings → Notifications, and that the app isn’t muted (right-click its icon).
- In macOS, check System Settings → Notifications → Wapp, and your Focus.
- On the website, check its own notification setting.
Sign in again or start an app over
Right-click the app’s icon and choose Remove and Clear Data, then add it again. Removing an app without clearing keeps its sign-in for when you add it back.
Screen sharing
The App Store version of Wapp can’t share your screen in calls: WebKit has no public way for apps to offer it. Camera and microphone work.
Storage and removing Wapp
Settings → Storage shows how much each app keeps and clears caches without signing you out. To remove Wapp, quit it and move it from
Applications to the Trash. Its data stays in ~/Library/Containers/app.wappapp.wapp until you delete that folder too.
Refunds
