Privacy Policy
Updated 2 November 2026
Wapp collects no data. It has no analytics, ads, tracking or accounts, and no server of its own. What Wapp keeps stays on your Mac.
What stays on your Mac
- The apps you add, their names, icons and settings, and Wapp’s own settings.
- Each app’s website data: sign-ins, cookies, local storage, offline messages and caches. Every app has a separate store, like a separate browser profile.
- Notification history: what websites showed as notifications, kept for 30 days so you can find them in Wapp’s inbox.
- The page elements you chose to hide.
- Files you download, saved to Downloads or wherever you choose.
Remove and Clear Data deletes an app’s website data, and Settings → Storage shows what each app keeps and deletes the data of apps you removed.
What Wapp sends
Wapp connects to the websites you add, as a browser would, and fetches their icons without your cookies. Those websites see what any browser shows them, and their own privacy policies cover what they collect. Wapp sends nothing to its developer.
Camera, microphone and notifications
A website can use your camera or microphone only after you allow it, and macOS asks for your permission as well. macOS shows website notifications on your Mac. Wapp has no server for them to pass through.
Purchase and crash reports
The App Store handles your purchase under Apple’s privacy policy. If you share analytics with app developers (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics for Wapp with its developer, as Apple’s policy describes.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with its date. Wapp is made by Boris Goriachev. Questions about privacy: support@wappapp.app.
